The correspondent bank
Transferring money to Bhutan requires the use of an intermediary bank (also called a correspondent bank):

Depending on your bank, it might not be necessary to indicate this intermediary bank, as your bank will know which correspondent bank to use.

However, if you do need to provide the details of a correspondent bank, you will find a list of them at the following address here.

While making the wire transfer, enter the following information (the most information are in bold):

The amount
Regarding the amount, you should:

Enter the total in USD

If this option in USD is not available, convert the amount from USD to your currency and enter the amount in your usual currency (after conversion)

and select “to be paid in USD.”
